Winehouse's home robbed while singer vacations in Caribbean

Guitars and music-recording equipment were stolen from the home of the British singer and tabloid favourite, who has been vacationing in St. Lucia, a spokesmansaidFriday.

Neighbours spotted the burglars early Thursday morning and called police, who found the door to her unattended north London home kicked in, according to Winehouse spokesman Chris Goodman.

Police have yet to make an arrest in the case.

The 25-year-oldsinger, acclaimed by the music industry but also notorious for her personal troubles, has been on a much-publicized jaunt to the Caribbean island since just before Christmas.

Recent tabloid photos and articles following Winehouse in St. Lucia, accompanied by 21-year-old actor Josh Bowman, prompted the singer's incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, to file for divorce. He isalleging infidelity.
