How to watch live coverage as U.S. President Joe Biden visits Canada

U.S. PresidentJoe Biden arrived in Ottawa on Thursday for his first official visit to Canadasince taking office in 2020.

The president and his wifeJill Biden began thetwo-day visit as they touched downinOttawa around 6:30p.m. ET.

They were to first meet with Gov. Gen. Mary Simon, before heading to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's residence.

On Friday,Biden will hold meetings with Trudeau before makingan address to a joint session of Parliament, becoming the eighth U.S. president to do so. He is also expected to have dinner with Trudeau and his family before departing Canada.
