The CBC's Adrienne Arsenault reports from Christchurch on the numbing effect the mosque attacks has had on residents in New Zealand's stricken city.

New Zealanders are dealing with both an unprecedented tragedy and the uncertainty that comes with it, as people wait for newsof the dead, the critically wounded and the missing, CBC's Adrienne Arsenault reports.

"There's a lot of anxiety here," she said, as she stood in front of a huge memorial of flowers and tributes that has sprung up in Christchurch since a gunman killed dozens of Muslims in attacks on two mosques during Friday prayers.
