Prince George growing up fast with an adoring public

In a photo meant to commemorate his great-grandmother's 90th birthday, his wide grin became the star attraction for many people.

Prince George has been growing up quickly alongside his fame. His first day at Westacre Montessori School, a nursery school, was on Jan. 6.

Family photos often bring attention to the young prince.

In December, Kensington Palace released this photo (which was taken in October) of Prince William and Kate with their two children.

George joined his parents and other members of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace last June for the Trooping the Colour parade in honour of Queen Elizabeth's 89th birthday.

George has been shown playing withhis younger sister, Princess Charlotte.

Kate took this photo of Prince George holding his nearly one-month-old sister at home, in Anmer Hall, Norfolk.

Charlotte's birth was a much less obsessed over event than her brother's. The duke and duchess slipped out of the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital with their second child in a decidedly subdued affair.

The prince's life has so far beena long list of firsts.

George posed for his first official solo portrait, taken in late November 2014, in a courtyard at Kensington Palace.

Prince William and Kate took their son on his first official visit to New Zealand and Australia shortly after his first birthday.

George was a highly watched child even before he had a name.

In a much-anticipated scene, Prince William and Kate leave the hospital with their firstborn on July 23, 2013. The prince, who had not yet been named, weighed eight pounds, six ounces.
