The premise Two and a Half Men will use to make the transition between sacked star Charlie Sheen and new lead Ashton Kutcher is under wraps, but that has done nothing but fuel the rumour mill. Celebrity website TMZ is reporting Sheen's character Charlie Harper will drive off a cliff and Kutcher will move into the house. CBS has not confirmed the report.

It's hard to blame producer Chuck Lorre for wanting to kill off Sheen's character, in an effort to never work with the erratic playboy again. In more easily confirmed news, his girlfriend Natalie Kenley also is driving away as quickly as possible, in a Mercedes Sheen himself gave her.

Sheen's web show Sheen's Korner, featuring gripping footage such as the actor showing off his new tattoo and ranting about the trolls of the TV business, appears to have fizzled and after the ups and downs of the Torpedo of Truth tour, it is looking increasingly as if Sheen's career is about to go off a cliff.

There have been persistent Hollywood rumours that he will soon be signed to another sitcom but so far those supposedly interested in the project, including TBS, have denied involvement, while Lionsgate refused comment.
