David Suzuki has spent decades as a champion of environmental conservation and global awareness. In his own lifetime, he  has witnessed an explosion of scientific knowledge, as well as a huge change in our relationship with the planet -- a tripling of the world's population, a greatly increased ecological footprint through the global economy, and a huge growth in technological capacity.

In his new book The Legacy: An Elder's Vision for Our Sustainable Future, Suzuki shares his knowledge, reflecting on the many changes he has seen and what the way forward might look like.

Along with his new book, Suzuki will mark the 20th anniversary of his foundation with a feature length film called Force of Nature that sees him deliver a 'last lecture' that he describes as "a distillation of my life and thoughts, my legacy, what I want to say before I die."
