Once again, teams from Toronto and Cleveland meet in playoffs. Seems familiar, right?

Once again, teams from Toronto and Cleveland meet in playoffs.Seems familiar, right?

This time,they're moving from the hardwoodto the ballpark.

After the Cleveland Indians swept the Boston Red Sox in Game 3 of the ALDS, the teamwill meet the Toronto Blue Jays in theALCS.

Five months earlier, the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers squared off in theNBA Eastern Conference finals in a gruelling six-game series.

Unfortunately for Toronto fans, the Cavs won the series 4-2 en route to the franchise's first-ever championship.


It's now up to the Toronto Blue Jays to even out the playing field in the Cleveland rivalry.


The rivalry between the two cities has sparked online conversation:



Cleveland fans are confident that Toronto fans will be left upset and heartbroken once again.




One thing Toronto can only hope for is that LeBron James isn't in any way involved with the series.



The Cleveland Indians were quick to tell the world of their winning record.


But don't worry Toronto fans, it looks like the Blue Jays are all over it.


As for Blue Jays presidentMark Shapiro who was previously Cleveland's president and GM well...let's just say things might get awkward.


The Toronto Blue Jays will play the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland on Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
