If you still have your doubts about climate change, here's a documentary that looks absolutely remarkable and just might change your mind.

It's called 'Chasing Ice' - from the producers of the Academy award-winning film 'The Cove.'

In this film, we follow National Geographic photographer James Balog as he tries to capture images of climate change happening before our eyes.

As part of his journey, Balog heads to the Arctic with a series of specialized time-lapse cameras he designed and built, that can withstand the arctic cold and winds.

Initially, he was a skeptic about climate change but after his first trip north to Iceland, he saw things in a completely different light.

Within months, Balog set off with his time-lapse cameras and a young team of adventurers - hoping to capture a record of the world's changing glaciers over several years.

The team travels by helicopter, canoe and dog sled across three continents - under extreme and dangerous conditions.

In the end, Balog ends up with spectacular yet poignant videos that compress years into seconds and capture huge mountains of ice as they rapidly disappear.

Ultimately, Balog discovers vivid evidence that our planet is changing.

'Chasing Ice' has won awards at Hot Docs, Sundance, and South By Southwest festivals, and could be nominated for an Oscar.

It was made by director Jeff Orlowski and the Oscar-winning team behind 'The Cove', producer Paula duPre' Pesmen and writer Mark Monroe.

It's currently playing at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto and in select theatres around the country.
