This is just one of many, many cases that needs to be revisited and studied publicly by every level of the scientific community. The fact that several individuals have used the FOIA only to get censored documents after two years is confirmation of sorts that the governments of the world are hiding something when it comes to the subject of extra-terrestrials. Their response of course has always been that the documents are censored as a matter of national security. What about those documents that are over 50 years old? Surely there is no danger in disclosing such information which most likely would have no affect on national security. The Disclosure Project started by Dr. Steven Greer is a major step in revealing all of the facts to the world. The 500+ individuals who have held the highest levels of security clearance surely have some credibility when is comes to this subject. Especially when they have the documents to prove it. People who were responsible for launching nuclear missles have come forward with incredible stories. Missles that were rendered unlaunchable after a UFO hovered outside of the facility, an occurance which has taken place several times. The fact that there have been advanced civilizations that have vistied this planet for years is not something that should be kept under a veil of secrecy and deception. Full disclosure of this subject would have incredible ramifications for our species. I do not believe that there would be mass hysteria of any kind. If they are in fact malnevolent beings, then surely we would have been eliminated long ago.

This is a non-issue, what difference do you think it would make for the masses if you had confirmation that there is extra-terrestrial who came here ?

Given the indefinite infinise of the universe, the likelihood Earth is the only life-sustaining planet (and civilization inhabiting) is scientifically improbable. To assume we are the most scientifically advanced creatures in the universe is a sure sign of our continued arrogance as a society.

I don't think anything like this, even if true, would ever be allowed to surface and be taken seriously. Any sort of religious group whos religion would be proven wrong with something like aliens (any God religion, really)would fight hard to have this surpressed. Much like how evolution still isn't taught in schools everywhere.

If agencies in the US are covering up top-secret events, they will continue to do so even if the events are more than 50 years old.

If it becomes public that there were in fact black ops (ie. secret military organization using and developing highly advanced science and technology) back then, and they were forced to disclose other information from say 20 years ago, then we could conclude that there are still black ops today and we could draw inferences about where they were going with the technology and what they are capable of today.

As much as people may think conspiracy theorists are nuts, the secrecy and coverups by our governments may speak more loudly than they do.

With theory and conjecture on one hand, disclosure and confirmation on the other; along with a current social preoccupation with assuming the worse in any given situation... Anyone with the aim of illuminating the public to factual information against the wishes of a government has got one whammy of a juggling act on their hands. Science and technology are not two of my particular affinities, however my aptitude for observation and value judgments might serve the scientific process while my life has been served my many different types of technology over the years; giving me the right to comment.

Embarrassingly enough as it might seem to experts on the subject, without approval from those who have unrestricted access to sensitive information in regards to this subject, we will never know for sure.

As long as our worst fears are not realized by extra-terrestrial life performing mass genocide as an act on introduction, what's the point of accusations and further confusion of this already fractured issue? Perhaps what is needed most is an act of solidarity on our part as a rational community of interested parties. Whether private or public, the information, or lack-thereof; must be controlled. I'm just not sure as to who is best qualified to do just that.

Nasa needs to be removed, they are wasting everyone's time and money. We need an open organization.

Even if it were meteors, any citizen should be able to freely claim the prize and NOT be pushed aside! If they say there are no ET UFOs then they shouldn't have anything to keep the public from seeing. The public sees plane crashes now and then and if it were meteors what would they have us pushed aside for if it were a rock from space? I believe in UFOs more so than believing that swamp gass emits light or hovers. Nasa shouldn't allowed to be a monopoly over anything that comes from space. Nasa should not have been given time but rather charged with a search order.
